- George your breaking of show format, keeps me in awe of your creative mind. It\'s amazing that you get these flashes of inspiration without alcohol, or other illicit chemicals.
Interesting fauna, bats. I still feel a little slighted on that one though... - Geo -
It would seem that Reginald is failing to take the good advice of uncle Thaddeus. He is definitely not traveling happy.
Definite a hilarious update sans the Whatney\'s Red Barrel. My wife, who is in complete agreement with you, also found it hilarious and suggested only that you might have included the fields of blackberries and their bio-accessories.

- Ok, I have a story of brain implosions.
Here I was, Monday morning (spring equinox! WOOT! *cough* sorry continuing) catching up on my fave blogs and my fave podcasts. The weekend was busy with house renovations and thus I didnt get time till a few hours ago to indulge myself.
So, 10 minutes into ep 83, cruising Phil\'s blog... and FARK ME but I read in his DARN BLOG A COMMENTARY ON THE EXACT PODCAST I AM CURRENTLY LISTENING TO! and predicting things 9 mins in my future (whoa!)
WTH people, WTH?
Geo, marvellous as usual (and I did check that I had started a new ep, not accidentally restarted an older one, just as bad as the water tnkling one where i REALLY needed to go when you were doing that). - Man, that was weird! I downloaded this podcast last night and it was only 239KB, just included the show close. Now, I\'ve got the proper podcast, 25MB, that\'s more like it! I\'ll check it out tomorrow, butt I was very confused by it today. Where is Geo, why are his minions closing the show?
Ah well, this too shall pass, and I suppose that it was some kind of operator error last night. I *DID* get 10 chapters of Scott Sigler\'s Ancestor tho.
Ms. Carrie, I finished 7th Son just a mere 2 weeks ago, it still resonates strongly. Both Scott and Chris (J.C.) are very good writers, just too bad that they didn\'t compose a bit of prose for the \'verse...
Geo, continue the outstanding work. I nominated you for a PCPAward in the Entertainment category. - @Geo
Re: political comparisons...
Can you post those as text on your blog?

http://jazzsick.wordpress.com/ - Geo, your description of Morimoto left me drooling so much the I missed the second half of the podcast and had to rewind. But that's cool. I must second Mr. Sosna's recommendation that while in Austin you might want to get in touch with the Non-Prophets show, or maybe the Atheist Experience TV program (http://www.atheist-experience.com/). If time allows, etc.
Regarding the political comparisons, I'm curious: did any of that material come from "This is Your Nation on White Privilege" by Tim White? (http://www.redroom.com/blog/tim-wise/this-your-nation-white-privilege) I've seen this essay in a couple of places on the web, and people have e-mailed it to me, and I'm wondering if this is Mr. Wise's work, or if he got it from you, or if it's one of those free-floating meme-y things set loose in the wilds of the intarwebs to savage the population at large.
Cheers! - Hey George,
While you are in Austin you should get together with the guys that do the Non Prophets, (http://www.nonprophetsradio.com/). I bet they would like to meet you.
Now I\'m going to type up your political comparisons and email it to everyone in my address book and tell them to forward it to everyone they know. That thing needs to go viral right now. I think I\'ll attribute it to the rotting corpse of George Carlin. - Brilliant intro...
Brilliant...
That\'s all I\'m on now (late home from work), but I\'m lovin\' it...

I about had a hearty attack (or a heart attack... stupid laptop too-small keyboard.). I thought you were ending the show! Glad to see you\'re still soldiering on! :) Keep up the great work. It keeps me sane in a sea of stupidity and gets me through my work week.

You are truly welcome. The very LEAST I could do... :-)
It\'s at times like these when I wish I had listened to what my father told me when I was very young. What did he say? I dunno I didn\'t listen. :-)
erm....establishing truck? recaptcha is weird....

- An unscripted rant on one breath of helium.. that was just amazing!
Not that I\'m political, but I would really like a copy of that email. Can you post or forward? TIA!
According to ReCaptcha, I\'m \"Captain 95.70\" able to play Non stop Hits of the 60s 70s and 80s with frequent commercial interruption. - Ok. Inquisitive aren\'t you? Ok. I\'ll tell you my story. but it might get ugly.
So, there I was minding my own business, reading Bad Astronomy, and reading about some kind of periodic table shenanigans, when it Happened. I got hooked. I couldn\'t help myself. Sometimes more than 5 times a day. I listened...I learnt \"What the hell is that...that\'s interesting fauna\" ...I letched (phwoar..that\'s Soccergirl???) I lived through another\'s eyes (codes on coke cans...F\'in right!) I loved and lost as the sad story unfolded (and I cried at the end of that gig too). I loaded every episode on to my \'pod. I laughed incessantly. I lectured friends on how good this guy was and how they MUST listen. And I LOVED every minute. What can I say but:
Mr. Hrab, you are a fuckin genius.
If you are ever over here, I will stand you for as many non alcholic drinks as you are prepared to drink...
Thank you. No Bullshit.
