The Ukranian professor said, "That’s 8 times 10 to the 67th ... that’s a 10 with 67 zeroes after it".

No, 10 to the 67th is a 1 with 67 zeroes after it. A 10 with 67 zeroes after it would have 68 zeroes, total, and that's one too many.
