Do NOT go with a meal you've never had before as your last meal. You are more likely than not to get something that you don't like, or that's just "meh."
Like I was at this Polish restaurant once, and there was this dish called "Czarnina." It was duck's blood soup. Yeah... (There were also raisins and home-made egg noodles in it.)
It wasn't disgusting per se, other than the pruney undertones, but certainly something I wouldn't want as my last meal.
I would have spanakopita (among other things) for my last meal. It's a childhood favorite and a comfort food for me. I had no trouble eating that at age 5, because of the phyllo and the feta.

It occurs to me that maybe instead of promoting atheism and reason, we should be promoting sex toys and relationship advice in the spirit of Dan Savage. Instead of appealing to the brain, we should be appealing to the groin.

I have to spoil things a little regarding Conservapedia, though. It looks like there's a good chance that the high rankings on these pages (some of which have very little content and aren't that old) might be due to pranksters 'bot-spamming the site to inflate numbers. A few folks at RationalWiki have copped to doing that sort of thing in the past.

I have to say, I was a little let down by your coverage of the "Multiple Choice" Mitt Romney moronics. Yes, he indeed was a moron in that pitiful rip-off of Kennedy's great speech on seperation of church and state. But you really didn't go into all that much detail on the why. Granted, "bullshit" is probably the best way to describe in less than 3 syallables, but still, I've come to expect more from the Religious Moron of the Week segment (my favorite segment of the show BTW).

Isn't a phrase like uber-fan or psycho-fan or rabid-fan redundant, seeing as the term "fan" is short for "fanatic?" Which has, in its definition, intense devotion?
I mean, I use an adjective to modify "fan" all the time (see previous post), but, thinking more about it, I really shouldn't.
(I also split the hell out of infinitives, but that's a rule that's going out of style anyways.)

If you want to read something very cool about how our brains work, try "A Mind of Its Own-How Your Brain Distorts and Deceives" by Cordelia Fine. She summarizes experiments (with copious footnotes) that demonstrate how little we actually think, and suggests ways to force ourselves to actively consider the world around us without the fogginess of self-deception.
